Through my personal, academic, and professional experiences, I have grown more passionate about helping others. My professional experience allows me to work with diverse populations, including military service members and their families, individuals with severe mental illnesses, and justice system involved individuals. I am a very open-minded person when working with others outside of my culture and cultural understanding. Culture drives us and it is a valuable and important part of every individual. We are never too old to learn, and I continuously stay willing to learn about others and the world's impact on them and their experiences.
