Getting to know Simone Sertorio

My name is Simone Sertorio; LMHC. I am passionate about understanding the human mind and helping people achieve change in their lives. I work to offer a safe and welcoming space where you can express your difficulties, understand your thoughts and emotions, and find ways to overcome them. My goal is to support you in developing strategies to better cope with challenges and achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life. The most recent professional growth of mine was to become certified in Intercultural Psychology, I integrate this experience into my clinical practice, offering a welcoming and culturally sensitive space for adults who are experiencing the emotional impacts of migration. I am a yoga teacher and intentionally integrate wellness-based strategies into clinical practice. My approach is warm, ad tailored to each clients unique experience as I create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions safely. To get to know a little bit about me from outside of the office: I am originally from Brazil and I speak Portuguese; I enjoy wellness practice of yoga for 20 years, and being outside in the nature.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
