Psychotherapist
TX
Great to meet you! As a therapist, my priority is creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe to explore what’s most important to you. I work collaboratively with clients, drawing from approaches like CBT, REBT, mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy to support healing, growth, and meaningful change. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression that stem from core maladaptive beliefs, particularly those rooted in low self-worth and self-esteem. My goal is to help you challenge these patterns, build self-compassion, and reconnect with your inherent value. Clients have described me as compassionate, grounded, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy works best when it’s tailored to you, so I’ll always meet you where you are—with curiosity, respect, and a sense of humor when it helps. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A bit about my approach to therapy My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Humanistic, Schema & Narrative Therapy while holding space for your lived experience and intuition. I see therapy as a space to better understand patterns, develop coping tools, and reconnect with your strengths. I focus on building a trusting relationship where you feel safe enough to explore what’s difficult and supported enough to take meaningful steps forward. I work with adults and young adults (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. I specialize in supporting individuals who are: Working professionals facing burnout or imposter syndrome Adult children of emotionally immature or narcissistic parents People recovering from codependency, enmeshment, or toxic relationships Individuals navigating breakups, divorce, or emotional closure Those struggling with chronic self-criticism or perfectionism Members of the LGBTQ+ community (affirming care) I create a validating, insight-oriented space where clients can untangle past wounds and move toward a more empowered, self-compassionate life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

What You Can Expect From Our First Session Starting therapy can feel both empowering and uncertain. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after time away, the first session is about getting to know each other and laying the groundwork for a supportive therapeutic relationship. During our initial meeting, we’ll explore what brings you in—whether it’s a specific challenge, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, or a general feeling that something needs to change. There’s no pressure to know exactly what to say. You can come as you are. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to get out of therapy. You may have a clear intention like managing anxiety, or you may just want to feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns that might be keeping you stuck. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, values, and what’s important to you. This helps me offer support that’s meaningful and personalized. You’re encouraged to share only what feels comfortable. We’ll also review logistics like scheduling, confidentiality, and how communication works between sessions. I’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel informed and supported moving forward. Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is not to judge or fix, but to walk alongside you, offering insight, compassion, and tools that align with your needs. You can expect warmth, transparency, and space to be fully yourself. By the end of the first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what therapy with me looks like, and together we’ll decide the next steps. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and a bit more hopeful.
