What should a new client know about working with you?

Using evidence-based interventions, I privilege your individual goals in our work together so that you can feel better soon. I'll work with you collaboratively to gain insight, while offering practical, helpful strategies to manage the anxiety that you're experiencing. My approach is successful in treating anxiety & stress, and work-related issues. I bring compassion, insight, and over 10 years of experience to each session using a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach. I aim to create a safe place for you to share what you are experiencing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you schedule your first session, I will send you a link to the secure Client Portal where you will find initial paperwork that needs to be completed 24-hours prior to our appointment. You will then receive a secure link to join the telehealth session. Online therapy simply requires access to a device with a camera, microphone and a strong internet connection. A laptop with a webcam or smartphone will work great! Headphones or headsets can be useful in reducing outside noise and creating a more connected experience. Our first session will be an assessment. Think of it as a mental health check up. I’ll ask lots of questions to get a good sense of who you are and how you might be helped. Following the assessment, I’ll offer recommendations for treatment. The recommendation may be with me, or in cases where others would be a better fit, I promise to share that recommendation as well. The first session is not a commitment to therapy. You can choose to proceed or not. It is an opportunity to learn more about yourself and about the process. Each day is a new chance to invest in your best self.
