Do you struggle with intense feelings, intrusive thoughts, or self-judgments? Maybe you experience impulsivity, self-critical thoughts, and difficulty focusing or making decisions, which makes working or simply living difficult. You might engage in disordered eating or substance use to cope with these challenges. You know you want more out of life but feel it is too hard. You want to ease your pain, manage your emotions, and have healthier relationships. You are not alone, and I am here to help. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, bringing both education and empathy to support your journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am a Licensed Social Worker specializing in anxiety, disordered eating, stress management and have specialized training in ADHD. I work with teens and adults helping them feel safe, empowered, and capable of handling whatever comes their way – without avoidance or substances to cope. Whether these symptoms stem from trauma, ADHD, an eating disorder, anxiety, or other issues, I’m committed to helping you gain the awareness, support, resources and skills you seek to recover and thrive.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Utilizing a variety of interventions—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and behavioral modification techniques—I aim to help clients navigate anxiety, stress, and ADHD with confidence, while also addressing any co-occurring mental health needs.
