Thank you for taking the time to reach out and look for a therapist. It is a first and important step to finding someone to work with you on your journey. As a trained therapist, my role is to professionally guide you to work on issues that are affecting you. We collaborate to develop goals and find way to achieve ways to improve or support healthy living. My focus My ideal client is someone who is willing to share and develop a working relationship with me. I want the best for my patients, but I want them to feel supported. My communication style My communication style is one that I hope is both supportive and professional. I believe in mutual respect as a good way to develop a therapeutic relationship. My journey to mental healthcare I have been a licensed clinician for over 20 years and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I love private practice as a means to share my knowledge and experience with patients. My goals for you As part of the treatment in session, clients are asked to share what they learned or give a critique of the session. So that we can continue to develop or revise treatment goals. All treatment goals are that the patient has full say on the specific goal. My first session with you The first session is an opportunity for the therapeutic relationship to begin. It starts with an assessment of the identify issues and gives the patient time to share what brings them to see a professional therapist. The provider is a “Licensed Professional Counselor" and their license number is 37PC00350900.
