Getting to know Stacey Brown

I want to help you remember who you are. By guiding you through the situations in your life that prevent you from living with joy, assisting you in resolving trauma while cultivating compassion for yourself, and teaching you new skills, you can move forward on your terms and return to your true nature. Finding balance in your mind, body, energy, and spirit will help you care for yourself and others with ease, joy, and creativity. As a seasoned, experienced therapist with a Master's in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida, I offer a unique experience blending practical, interactive, intuitive, holistic, and solution-focused therapy. My approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. By incorporating a blend of conventional and alternative methods and drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques, I tailor solutions that are most helpful for each client. Practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Developmental Psychology, Neuroscience, Brainspotting, Yoga philosophy, Meditation and Mindfulness, Ayurvedic medicine, spirituality, energy work, and general wellness strategies combine to offer an integrative, holistic approach. With sensitivity, patience, compassion, humor, and perspective, we will work cooperatively to build on your strengths, resolve trauma, and return to balance and joy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session, you'll share your story with me. We will discuss your goals and how you'd like to move forward. In future sessions, I'll be listening for continued assessment with compassion and interest. Based on what you share with me, I will offer education, feedback and direct instruction or specific treatment strategies with holistic, integrative strategies to help you move forward. We will work together collaboratively to help you reach your goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
