Life presents us with challenges and triumphs. I believe everyone can benefit from support. I am here to walk this journey with you, as you acquire the necessary skills to live a happier and more fulfilled life. I am deeply dedicated to this field and view it as an honor to collaborate with my clients to determine the best course of treatment for them. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge through lifelong learning and embracing new opportunities for growth in this field. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. I also utilize Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Therapies. Additionally, I am knowledgeable in treating Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) such as nail biting and hair pulling. Educating my clients about the tools needed to overcome these addictive behaviors is life-changing. I believe empowering my clients throughout the treatment process is crucial for healing. I am a retired Air Force veteran with over 20 years of honorable service. I was also previously an elementary school teacher and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) since 2014. I received a bachelor's degree in social psychology from Park University and a master's degree in counseling from Wayland Baptist University. When not counseling, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, and seeking out my next favorite quote. Remember: “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” -- C.S. Lewis
