Hi. My name is Staci Cabbiness. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Professional Counseling from St. Edward’s University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, Austin. I offer individual and family counseling to adults and adolescents, both in person and through televideo. I am passionate about helping others find fulfillment and peace of mind within themselves, their families, and their relationships. Do you find yourself constantly worrying, feeling unmotivated, or struggling to find purpose? Are you having trouble with relationships or dealing with trauma? Maybe you and your partner or family are facing conflict and communication difficulties and need support to resolve these challenges. Sometimes parents or caregivers don’t know how to help their teen with mental health difficulties. You are in the right place! I’ve seen positive changes in those I’ve worked with and hope to help you reach your goals. Clients often describe me as genuine and caring, a reflection of the passion I bring to my work. Let me know if you’d like an even shorter version or a more formal tone. I strive to establish a connection with my clients so they feel heard and understood. I like to build on an individual’s or family’s strengths and help them better understand themselves. I would love to help you navigate your way to happiness, confidence, tranquility, and manage stress. I work with a wide variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, self-esteem, anger management, trauma, boundary-setting, communication issues, infidelity, life transitions, impulsivity, and addiction. My approach integrates different perspectives because I believe not all people benefit from one type of counseling. During sessions, I explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while fostering self-compassion, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and communication techniques for living a joyful and soothing lifestyle.
