Psychotherapist
MA
I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals to find healing from life's unfairness, hurts, and traumas. Witnessing a soul rise from the ashes of what was meant to harm them and discovering newness and freedom is what drives me in this profession. This healing process allows a person to make meaning of their challenges, and assimilate the strengths formed out of adversity. Once someone achieves peace and freedom from their hurt, they can spread their wings, find their purpose, and become the person they aspire to be. This transformation allows them to build healthy relationships, breaking the generational cycle of pain while fostering habits of love, joy, peace, and resilience. I became a therapist to help people gain victory over the impact of trauma, whether big or small, and navigate life's challenges with resilience. It is incredibly rewarding to witness individuals reclaim their lives from the grip of past hurts and develop the strength to face all the blessings and challenges life offers. Seeing people overcome their struggles and build a future filled with hope, purpose, and resilience is what drives me to do this work every day. I offer therapy to individuals, couples, and children ages 12 and up experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, anger management, relationship challenges, developmental trauma, mood swings, emotional struggles, self-harm, co-dependency, career/vocational change or exploration, social skills training, adoption or foster care, ADHD, parenting challenges, self -esteem issues, stress management, abuse or trauma, domestic violence, and life stage transitions. My approach to therapy is centered around providing a supportive and empathetic environment for clients to feel comfortable exploring difficult topics. I help individuals find healing and develop resilience through a combination of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Hope Focused Marriage counseling, mindfulness practices, person centered practices, Trauma Therapy models including ARC and trauma based relational parenting techniques. I focus on guiding clients to transform their pain into growth and empowerment, enabling them to build healthy relationships and break generational cycles of pain.
