What should a new client know about working with you?

I want you to know that I approach therapy with a warm, accepting, and collaborative mindset. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, valued and supported as we work together. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy into my approach, which means we'll focus on understanding your thoughts and behaviors and how they impact your well being. Together we will identify practical solutions to the challenges you're facing, working toward your goals with a strengths- based perspective. I also incorporate Christian values into our sessions, which can offer spiritual insight and support if that aligns with your personal beliefs. My approach is all about respect, partnership, and empowerment - helping you navigate life's challenges with both practical strategies and a sense of faith-based guidance, if that is something that resonates with you. I'm here to walk alongside you in your journey, offering the support and tools needed to help you thrive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session, we'll start by checking in about how things have been going since our last meeting. This gives you an opportunity to share any progress, challenges, or feelings you've been experiencing. I'll ask open ended questions to better understand where you're at and what's on your mind. From there, we will dive into the focus of the session. We may explore specific thoughts, feelings and behaviors, working together to identify patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. We may focus on identifying practical solutions and strengths to help you move forward in a positive direction. The session will end with a recap of what we discussed, any action steps or goals for the coming week, and a chance to reflect on how you're feeling. My aim is always to leave you feeling empowered and with a sense of clarity as we work together toward your well-being. From
