Getting to know Stacy Allender

Hi! I'm Stacy. Do you ever struggle with memories from past experiences? Do you have difficulty managing symptoms of anxiety or depression? How about trouble focusing or concentrating on tasks? I work with adults who cope with past traumatic or emotionally overwhelming experiences. I believe our past—both good and bad—shapes how we handle situations today. Using a patient-centered approach, I focus on what matters most to you. I have almost 7 years of experience working with military service members, veterans, first responders, and civilians dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also really enjoy working with stepmoms because I am one myself. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, which has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. Asking for help is not easy, but I want you to know that I’m here to support you. I want to be part of your team and help you navigate whatever life is throwing at you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
