Stacy Huddleston, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TX
After many years of volunteering with various organizations and supporting people through difficult times, I discovered a deep calling to help others heal and grow. These early experiences opened my eyes to the strength found in vulnerability and the importance of being truly seen and heard. That path led me to pursue a Master’s degree in social work and dedicate my career to helping women navigate life’s most complex emotional experiences. As a clinical social worker, I specialize in supporting women through grief, loss, and major life transitions. Whether you’re facing the end of a relationship, experiencing a significant change in identity, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all—I’m here to hold space for your story. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that healing begins with connection. I’m passionate about empowering women to rediscover their strength, find clarity, and move forward with confidence and self-compassion.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and rooted in active listening. I believe in affirming and empowering individuals—especially women—by reminding them that solutions are possible, even when facing the complex challenges that come with life transitions and aging. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support each client’s unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based techniques. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and personal growth can take place.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I want my clients to leave each session feeling heard, validated, and empowered. My goal is for them to walk away with a greater sense of clarity, practical tools they can use in daily life, and the belief that change is possible—no matter their age or life circumstances. Whether we're working through issues related to relationships, self-worth, aging, or gender-based challenges, I want clients to feel supported in discovering their own strengths and reclaiming their voice. Therapy with me is a collaborative process rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep belief in each person's resilience and capacity for growth.
