With a Master of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Sociology and Psychology from Michigan State University, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I bring over two years of counseling experience working with diverse populations facing various mental health and physical disabilities. My experience spans residential treatment facilities, private rehabilitation, and programs serving clients with mental health disorders and physical disabilities. I have provided evidence-based counseling practices and skills group training, always striving to bring an integrated approach to therapy. My therapeutic approach is holistic, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness Training. I specialize in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, self-esteem issues, schizophrenia, and psychosis. I also have significant experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, physical and/or sexual abuse, abandonment, neglect, and dysfunctional family systems. I am genuinely concerned for my clients and their pain, and I am committed to helping you navigate life's challenges with clarity and goal-setting.
