Starlett Armstrong, LCSW

Psychotherapist
26 Lamar Cir Ste 3, Madison, TN
Hi, I’m Starlett Armstrong, a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families heal from trauma and navigate life’s challenges. I’ve been in the field since 2006, after earning my degree from Eastern Michigan University, and I’ve dedicated my career to supporting people through life’s most difficult and transformative moments. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I also provide couples therapy to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional connection. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, my approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices such as EMDR, DBT, ARC, TF-CBT. and SFBT. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and experience real, lasting growth. I’m licensed to provide therapy in Tennessee, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Florida, and Arkansas, and I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to make care as accessible and flexible as possible. I became a therapist because I know the impact of unspoken pain, and the transformation that can happen when someone finally feels seen and heard. I strive to be that presence for my clients: someone who listens deeply, responds honestly, and supports meaningful change. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, good music, and finding joy in everyday moments. If you're looking for a therapist who blends empathy with practical strategies, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
