Hello! I'm Stefanie Kalski, a licensed mental health counselor based in North Port, Florida. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Nova University. At North Port Counseling Center, I specialize in helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate the complexities of emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach is centered around creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring and expressing your feelings.
Starting therapy can be a big step, and I'm here to guide you through it with empathy and understanding. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client I work with, including play therapy techniques for younger clients, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and the Gottman Method for couples. Whether we're meeting over video or sitting in my office, I strive to make every session feel like a step forward.
