What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy. Many of my clients begin with uncertainty, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just needing space to pause and reflect. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening in your inner world and build strategies to move toward change. I work collaboratively and without judgment, and I tailor sessions to your needs and pace. Therapy with me often includes evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT, alongside a compassionate focus on self-understanding, coping skills, and emotional growth. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, capable, and connected to what matters most to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in and talk about your goals, challenges, and hopes for therapy. There’s no pressure to know exactly what you need—we can uncover that together. I aim to build a strong foundation of trust and safety so that you can feel comfortable sharing whatever feels important. Over time, our work may involve identifying thought and behavior patterns, learning tools to manage anxiety or overwhelming emotions, or healing from past experiences. I draw on CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practices, and mindfulness
