Hi, I’m Stella! I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), and I’m passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and more confident as they navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CUNY Hunter College. I work with children, adolescents, and adults.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and genuinely heard. I take a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, focusing on getting to know you as a whole person and understanding what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward changes that feel meaningful to you. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming. My goal is to make the process feel more comfortable by meeting you where you are, moving at a pace that feels right for you, and creating a space where you feel supported as we navigate the process together.
