FL
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting children, parents, and families. I specialize in helping parents of young children navigate behavior challenges such as tantrums, big emotions, and difficulties with emotional regulation. My work focuses on helping parents better understand their child’s behavior while strengthening the parent-child relationship. I use evidence-based approaches, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and attachment-focused strategies, to teach practical tools that help reduce challenging behaviors and create more calm and connection at home. I also work with women and mothers who feel overwhelmed by the many responsibilities they carry and need a supportive space to process stress and reconnect with themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can talk openly without judgment while also learning tools that you can use in everyday life. When working with parents, I focus on helping you better understand your child’s behavior and feel more confident responding to challenging moments. Many parents come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what to do, and together we work on building strategies that bring more calm and connection into your family.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions focus on understanding your concerns, your child’s behavior, and the goals you hope to achieve in therapy. Together, we develop a clear plan that focuses on building skills, strengthening the parent-child relationship, and reducing challenging behaviors. When working with parents of young children, sessions often include coaching and practical strategies you can start using at home right away. Throughout the process, we monitor progress and adjust the approach to make sure therapy continues to meet your family’s needs.
