Hi there, I'm Stephanie! Welcome, I'm glad you are here! Taking the first steps to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, but being willing to do so signals readiness for change. Regardless of what brings you here, I want to assure you that I am here to support you through your journey. I have been in the field for almost 10 years and have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship/peer issues, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, and stress management. Your well-being is my priority, and I am committed to collaboratively working with you to navigate your challenges and meet your goals. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to provide effective, compassionate care. My approach My approach to therapy begins with building a safe and secure relationship. I strive to create a warm, empathic, and relaxed environment where you can express yourself without fear of judgment and truly be seen and heard. I also believe humor is the best medicine and include some in sessions when appropriate. My therapy is strength-based and individualized to client preferences and needs. Modalities I typically use include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational Therapy, and Attachment Theory. My focus I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community, home, and outpatient settings. I have a strong background in depression, anxiety, self-esteem building, trauma, relational/interpersonal issues, and helping people navigate life stressors and increase emotional regulation skills. I believe everyone is the expert in their own life and sometimes just needs support to reconnect with their innate wisdom to overcome challenges and promote healing.
