I have a genuine compassion to help others struggling with life circumstances. My counseling style is authentic with attention paid to the client’s individual needs. I prefer to use client directed approaches and techniques. The approaches that I tend to use most are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address distorted thought processes, Solution Focused Therapy to address the immediate issues and Story Informed Trauma Therapy which focuses on unresolved trauma from the past. I am always open to new ideas and strategies. I appreciated the fact that clients can now receive services from the comfort and safety of their own homes. This gives even those who have been hesitant in the past to seek therapy an opportunity to make positive changes to their lives.
