Getting to know Dr. Stephanie Chalk

I am a licensed psychotherapist with specializations in trauma and neuroscience. I serve children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of presenting concerns. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I also specialize in parental reunification and family issues following divorce. I believe in the potential for growth and healing in all individuals and families, valuing each person's unique strengths and experiences. In addition to my work with Two Rivers, I am the Associate Director of the School of Counseling at Marymount University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use cognitive behavior therapy, existential-humanistic therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy with individuals. For families, I use strategic family therapy and structural family therapy, and am also trained in child custody evaluation and parental reunification.
