Getting to know Stephanie Chiel

Welcome, I am so glad you are here! I work with clients ages 5 through 35, treating a wide range of complex diagnoses. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, family and couples relationships, and major life transitions. I am dually licensed in Arizona, as well as Connecticut, and have been practicing since 2019. I have a Master’s degree in Education, focused on Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I began my career working on an inpatient psychiatric unit, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals with acute and complex mental health needs. I later transitioned into outpatient care. My approach is both supportive and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while also working toward meaningful, lasting change. I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
