What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session will consist of reviewing consent forms for counseling and other intake forms needed to begin counseling and to answer any questions you might have. I will send you mental health assessments to complete via internet at home to gain a understanding of what issues you are currently experiencing. The second session we will work together to identify treatment goals that you would like to work on during counseling and discuss an appropriate evidenced based treatment modality. After those two initial sessions a typical session will consist of talking about your thoughts and feelings regarding whatever goal you have identified to work towards along with any progress you have made since the last session. I will provide supportive listening and interactive feedback. I will also provide you with tools to help you cope with daily life stressors.
