Getting to know Stephanie Dykyj

I believe therapy can be a universally rewarding practice that helps navigate life's stressors. Especially in recent years, we've seen how important it is to take care of ourselves and find support. It can feel overwhelming and intimidating just to find a place to start. My goal is to help you overcome obstacles and barriers so you can begin looking forward to the future. You are the expert on your thoughts and experiences, and together we will find solutions that best fit your needs. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Temple University. My orientation is client-centered, meaning you and I are equal partners in navigating the struggles you face. My approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and humanistic approaches. My style is warm and casual; I understand the importance of building a strong, trustworthy relationship to create a safe and comfortable space for you. My main objective is to help you make the changes needed to live a life you enjoy. Together, we will work to rediscover excitement in life and overcome the stressors that can overshadow it.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will work at your pace to create a comfortable environment for you. We can take as much or little time as you need to build a trusting relationship. My goal is for you to feel safe enough to express any thought, feeling, or problem you may be experiencing. We will then work together to find the best way for you to tackle these issues.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
