Taking the time to consider therapy is a big step and the start of your healing journey. I believe in walking alongside you during that journey and using a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy. I specialize in helping clients who are experiencing crises, sudden losses, significant life changes, depression, trauma, and anxiety, as well as others. I believe in therapy being individualized to the person; no two people are alike, and therapy should reflect that. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you on your path to healing. My approach I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)/Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a way to help develop skills with emotional regulation and distress tolerance during the therapeutic process. I use motivational interviewing and collaborative problem-solving techniques to support you with working through challenges and creating lasting change. I have an array of other modalities and strategies that I can also utilize in your journey. Together, we will create goals for therapy that reflect what you want to work on and update them as you grow and progress. My focus Facing change and crisis can be difficult, but you don't have to go it alone! I specialize in helping people experiencing crisis, navigating grief, or struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I can help you address negative thought patterns and develop healthier coping mechanisms. My communication style I believe in non-judgmental communication and creating a space where you can share your thoughts freely. If you are experiencing a crisis or challenging event, you can expect calm and patience, as well as experience to support you in those hard moments. My journey to mental healthcare From a young age, I was always fascinated by psychology and how the brain works. Over the years, I have held an array of different roles, many for high needs clients in crisis.
