Hi there, I'm Stephanie! Stephanie Fisher has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. She has worked in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, nutrition, animal assistance, play therapy, first responders, foster care, and parenting support. Stephanie has an additional degree in professional child and family development. She is also a licensed and practicing EMT. My approach In a session, we will typically focus on what is on your mind first, then move into goals. This approach allows for a smooth transition so that you can clear what's on your mind before moving to a goal and decreases the occurrences of getting off track once you are focusing on a goal. I am flexible and like to meet clients where they are at in their style, so if they are more emotional style, if they are more skill-based, or in crisis we can approach it from an angle that works best. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-informed care, Motivational interviewing, Emotional Focused Therapy, and all areas I am trained in. My focus Due to being a Nationally licensed and Practicing EMT and volunteer firefighter as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I seem to work with many first responders: Doctors, Nurses, Firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and dispatchers. I also own and operate a Guest Ranch that is also a Therapeutic Ranch, so I tend to also work with many people who are animal lovers and want to find ways to reduce symptoms, by working with animals. I am also trained in animal-assisted therapy. Due to my years of experience, I am treating many conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, PTSD, parenting, career changes, and overall life transitions.
