Getting to know Stephanie Knight

I truly enjoy getting to know each client and meet them where they are in life. My strengths include empathy, compassion, and being non-judgmental. I have helped clients who struggle with anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and infidelity, among others. My ideal client will work collaboratively with me to develop a set of goals and be motivated to work together to reach them. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. I will provide the safety, encouragement, and respect you need in order to build positive change, in addition to empathy and compassion. Your struggles do not define you?there is a way forward. We all endure hardships and challenges through life, and at times need an advocate and encourager. You are not alone.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have been described as very easy to talk to, and am passionate about my work. You will be respected, treated kindly and met exactly where you are on your journey. Building trust and a positive rapport with clients is my top priority.

I very thankful to have found Stephanie Knight. My 10 year old son has been going through some hard times with his moms illness and Stephanie has helped him open up and start sharing his feelings. She has been very kind and patient with him and he really enjoys going to see her. I feel lucky to have found someone special that could help my son. I would recommend her to anyone.
