I am new to therapy over all and very nervous about getting started. The provider was reaching out at odd hours during the work week calling and texting me at 10pm. I found that odd. When I was clarifying information about the appointment, the provider came off as rude, in my opinion. However, It’s hard to read things over text. I was blamed for not wanting to move forward with the appointment (I thought I booked a consultation) and the way it was handled afterward was very unprofessional. I understand that you lose money if someone doesn’t move forward with an appointment but knowing that I was new to therapy and to your office you would think there would be some sort of screening process to ensure that it was the right fit and consult a patient before booking actual appointments. That being said, I won’t book therapy appointments in Zocdoc again.
