Because that connection is so important, it is my priority during our first sessions. I genuinely care about my clients and want our time together to be effective. Your openness and vulnerability are key to the success of our sessions. I create an environment of care, openness, understanding, and confidentiality to give you the space to feel comfortable. Many clients have told me that I have helped them feel safe speaking openly and honestly about their lives and experiences. Building a relationship of trust allows us to address core issues together. I am an experienced licensed professional counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso. Korean-born, raised in France, and having lived on the US-Mexico border for the past two decades, I bring a broad range of experiences and have overcome many challenges. This background gives me a very open, inclusive, and understanding perspective. I can support you as you face life's transitions and challenges. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, codependence, trauma, dysfunctional childhoods, marital issues, self-esteem, anger, bullying, stress, and career concerns. I also have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, families, law enforcement, and veterans.
