I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel truly seen and heard. As a therapist, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their unique journeys of growth and healing. On a personal level, therapy has been significant in helping me navigate difficult periods in my life, offering me a safe and empowering space to explore my identity and inner systems. My passion for this work stems from my belief that everyone is doing their best to navigate life’s challenges, and sometimes we simply need someone to walk alongside us, providing encouragement, exploration, and understanding. My goal is to offer compassionate and empathetic support, helping clients build the confidence to face life’s obstacles while cheering them on in the process. Growth and healing can be challenging, and it would be an honor to support a fellow human on their journey toward self-discovery and empowerment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, I will provide you with a nonjudgmental space where your authentic self will be celebrated. I understand that each person’s path is different, so I’ll take the time to meet you where you are at and together we will create a personalized and holistic experience that truly supports your journey. In our time together, we will work collaboratively to unlearn toxic patterns (using CBT) and build healthy coping skills (using DBT). Sessions with me may involve deep dives into “the why” or they may be light and playful to encourage self exploration. I incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches for self exploration and empowerment (Narrative Therapy, Strengths-based, Health-at-every-size, Motivational Interviewing). I recognize and honor the resilience within individuals, while also understanding the systems and societal factors that shape the need for resilience, offering support through a culturally sensitive lens to promote healing and empowerment. I understand that the stigma surrounding therapy can make it difficult to take the first step, and I’m here to offer a safe, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable finding the therapist who best meets your needs. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you evolve into your best self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, disordered eating, body image concerns, self-acceptance, and self-esteem. I also specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, childhood trauma, attachment issues, and substance use. Additionally, I enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community and navigating women's issues. Therapy is a collaborative process and I want to provide clients a space to show up as their authentic self so I can strive to do the same. Together, we will work towards empowerment, self-compassion, and a greater sense of purpose in your life.
