Hi, I'm a regular gal, with adult kids & have been working in this field since 1990. I will never say I have 'seen it all', as I haven't. I have a pretty good sense of humor, along with a quiet side. Therapy is a place to look inward, to figure it out. I will walk along side of you as needed to do this. The first session is an intake assessment where I will review the paperwork & self screens you complete prior to this appointment. It is a bit formal in nature, as a clinical path will be developed with you. This 'path' is the treatment goal, which is what we will work towards in our time together. After having worked with teenagers and those in the legal system, I have found I prefer seeing adults. Adults who are interested in figuring out what is going on & finding solutions to what is troubling to them.
