“Stephanie is wonderful, just was not the right fit for me. I need a bit more direction and input rather than someone who just listens. For those needing a supportive ear, she is perfect! For those who need someone who will challenge and guide you, you may want to explore other options.”

Getting to know Stephanie Moore

Hi, my name is Stephanie Moore. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Master's in Counseling and Development. I have experience working with children, young adults, and adults. I believe in meeting people where they are. My primary treatment modality is Person-Centered therapy, though I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy at times. I have worked with diagnoses such as Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, and Schizoaffective Disorder, as well as helped others process their childhood traumas. I believe in a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

It is just the first session. She was very sweet and I can't wait to see where the journey takes us.
Pretty disappointed. She looked like she just rolled out of bed and was reading from a script. Very unprofessional. She was nice but I couldn’t get past her tshirt, messy hair, and bandaid on her face. She also was yawning the entire time, in the middle of her sentences! She made me feel unimportant. Would not recommend.

Working with Stephanie has helped me so much with learning more about myself and helping working through my day to day challenges. She is a great therapist and im lucky to have found her.
She is the first therapist that has actually helped me, and for the first time in a long time my depression and anxiety feels manageable.
Very receptive to my needs and praised me for being an advocate of my health. I never felt pressured to say more than I wanted and touched on some really good topics and thought processes.

My situation involves a court case with me, a parent of an adult daughter, having been assaulted and hurt by my daughter who has/had genetic sexual attraction. I was forced to endure years of pain by her while I shielded her children from her. From the outside, no one cares about the man in this situation because the man is always the abuser. Stephanie has cared for my well being since the beginning and I've always felt like she's cared and understood that men, also, can be victims.
She has helped me overcome my fear of therapy.
Stephanie is a very sweet, warm, authentic, and open person. She has made therapy feel less insurmountable and more attainable with every session.
