"Hi there! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida. I provide an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy that prioritizes trust, collaboration, and emotional safety. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), among other integrative interventions. May are actively involved in treatment planning, goal setting, and selecting therapeutic strategies. Throughout the process, I strive to balance compassion and unconditional positive regard with thoughtful challenges that encourage lasting change. Originally from Venezuela, I am bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in 2014 and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University in 2018. Over the past eight years, I have worked with diverse populations across multiple levels of care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings."

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
