Getting to know Stephanie Munro
Hello. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, I approach my practice with unconditional positive regard and mutual collaboration with those I serve. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, which laid the foundation for my client-centered approach. My clients are the experts on their lives and experiences, and it is my role to offer tools, active listening, and an individualized framework geared towards achieving their unique goals.
My primary focus lies with emerging and young adults, supporting them in their journey as they navigate their experiences and the ever-flowing changes and transitions, including stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and more.
I consider it an honor to walk alongside those I work with toward the path that will lead them to self-love, confidence, processing difficult experiences and emotions, and strengthening their own abilities on their personal path toward empowerment. It takes profound courage to share your story in therapy, and I make sure to hold space and honor what you bring to the session at every meeting.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I view therapy as an interactive experience. We are collaborating together! I offer tools on how to cope with stress, difficult experiences; and identifying your own personal, healthy coping skills. During our sessions, I will remain present with you as you share; as both an active listener and participator of the session.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
