Getting to know Stephanie Muro

I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. I use an integrative approach to therapy that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art therapy, and expressive techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. Through therapy, I can assist individuals to address patterns of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and other stress-related issues. I have worked with culturally diverse individuals of all ages, while specializing in work with emerging adults. My goal is to help individuals increase self-awareness and develop concrete tools to improve emotional wellness that will help them reach their goals. I encourage therapy to be a space where one can explore feelings, process thoughts, and identify personal strengths. Whatever season you find yourself in, I am here to walk with you in the context of a nonjudgmental, warm, empathic, and collaborative space.
