What should a new client know about working with you?

There’s too many things in life that we simply cannot control. This can cause a great deal of stress and make life seem unmanageable. I am here to help you find ways to navigate these challenges by increasing self-awareness, understanding and finding a way to heal. I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 9 years of experience in providing counseling services. My approach to therapy is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I utilize a blend of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. My goal is to empower you to develop coping skills, gain insight into your thoughts & emotions, and make positive changes. If you feel like I may be a good fit, feel free to schedule a consultation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process for working with new clients is meeting them where they are at. I allow new clients to lead sessions and if struggling to do so, I facilitate in depth open-ended questions. My goal is to get to know you and build a therapeutic rapport in a trusting environment.
