What should a new client know about working with you?

I am experienced in helping individuals heal from trauma & painful past experiences, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, negative relationship & attachment patterns, and women’s issues. If you struggle with overwhelming emotions, I can provide tools to help you achieve significant changes in your ability to manage distress and self-soothe.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I integrate mindfulness-based interventions into trauma therapy, and explore the impact of trauma on the body and mind to promote healing and recovery of complex trauma. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and teach DBT skills including mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance and emotion regulation. DBT has been successfully proven to help decrease self-injurious behaviors, mood instability, chaotic relationships, anger and impulsive behaviors.
