Getting to know Stephanie Rettig

Hi there, I'm Stephanie! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University and nine years of clinical experience. I regularly work with individuals of all ages, addressing concerns such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, and Self Esteem. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a Person-Centered approach, and a combination of many other modalities to provide tailored counseling to each person I work with during therapy. I believe in working closely with each client to foster a relationship that encourages greater self-acceptance, leading to growth and change in their lives. I want you to understand your emotions and where they are coming from, have healthier coping methods, and make positive, beneficial changes in your behavior or routine. I want you to improve the communication of your feelings, wants, and needs. Learn to take better care of yourself and not let your emotions have so much control over your life and choices. Coming to therapy is scary enough, so my mission is to make you feel completely comfortable, safe, and free from judgment. You will always know that I am PRO-YOU, and I encourage you to reach out and get started today!
