Getting to know Stephanie Shillig

As a therapist, I feel honored to join my clients on their journey of healing as they are reminded of their strengths and learn new skills to overcome their challenges. I understand the importance of building trust with my clients, respecting their stories without judgment, and creating a safe space for them to be open and vulnerable. I find joy in helping my clients better understand themselves and their past and present relationships, let go of negative core beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving them, and ultimately believe that they are enough. As a Marriage and Family Therapist trained at Argosy University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am equipped to work with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, which has allowed me to serve a diverse population of clients with a variety of issues and severity levels. I use evidence-based modalities and am certified in EMDR and DBT. To book therapy for a minor under age 18, please go to care.tavahealth.com. After booking, Tava Health will text and email you a link to complete registration and join your video therapy session. After you complete registration, you'll be able to log in to Tava to join your session, book additional sessions, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist cannot provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
