Getting to know Stephany Steele
Girls grow into women who carry more than anyone sees. If that’s you or your teen, you’re not alone. Many of my clients grew up in families where emotions were minimized, Maybe you were the responsible one, the translator, the peacekeeper, or the girl labeled “dramatic” or told “you’re just playing victim” until you learned to shut down. Now that pressure shows up as depression, low motivation, or feeling frozen by fear you can’t quite name. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, mother–daughter pain, and the long echoes of sexual, emotional, and physical trauma or abuse. Together we name what you pushed down just to survive.
My work is relational, steady, and gently challenging. I integrate DBT skills, TF-CBT, mind-body tools, and—when you desire—a Christ-centered, biblically grounded lens to help you heal patterns shaped by sexual, emotional, or physical abuse. Sessions give you clarity, calm, and practical steps forward. English or Spanish.
