Hi there, I'm Stephen. Do you feel like no matter what you do, it's never enough? There is something more important you need to do. Are you struggling with feeling joy or fulfillment in your relationships, work, health, and spirituality? Is it hard to be kind to yourself or stop overthinking everything? I help high achievers manage perfectionism and imposter syndrome. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back on track. We'll use a whole self approach to meet the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. As a Christian and Therapist with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University, I integrate Biblical principles and science to help you feel, think, and do great. Whether you're dealing with low confidence, overwhelm, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. I know taking the first step toward mental wellness is often not easy. I'll be thrilled to walk this journey with you. You deserve a safe place to feel heard and understood. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the habits holding you back, allowing joy and peace to become your new norm rather than an exception. I will also teach you to be your own therapist. Let's collaborate!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clients see me as a trusted guide. During our first session, I will ask you some questions to get a better understanding of what you are looking for from therapy. We will work together on goals to help alleviate your distress and make meaningful changes in your day-to-day life. In subsequent sessions, we will work towards the goals we identified and address any barriers. At the end of therapy, you will have new knowledge and skills transferable to address future problems for continued progress upon graduation from therapy. Ultimately, you will become your therapist.
