What should a new client know about working with you?

Ready to Carve Your Masterpiece? Life for men can often feel far from a masterpiece. When you're battling with your family, consumed by anger, anxiety, sadness, or caught in the grip of addiction, it's like being stuck on a nightmare merry-go-round. Everything feels out of control, and it's frankly, terrifying. But what if you could change that? Just as Michelangelo saw an angel hidden within a block of marble, you, too, possess a masterpiece within you. It takes vision to see it and hard work to set it free. Right now, destructive patterns of thinking and behavior might be costing you your family, career, and even your health. The financial and emotional toll is immense. The good news? You don't have to stay stuck. We can help you envision the man you want to become and the life you want to live. It won't always be easy, but like a sculptor honing their craft, with vision and effort, your beautiful masterpiece will emerge. It's time to start creating a different way to live. I never set out to be a counselor. For most of my college years, I honestly had no idea what career path I'd take. Yet, with both my parents being dedicated "people helpers" – whether as missionaries or teachers – it probably shouldn't have been a shock that I'd eventually find myself in a similar profession. After college, career counseling tests consistently pointed me toward counseling, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. I genuinely love both doing and learning about this work. My unique background also includes over 20 years at a Fortune 500 company. That experience gives me a deep appreciation for the specific pressures, changes, and challenges men face while working in corporate America. My top priority is for you to have a safe place to tell your story, receive acceptance and suggestions, and move forward. I will ask for your feedback from time to time about whether you are being respected/heard, whether we are talking about the topics you want to address, and about your progress.
