Getting to know Stephen Marley

Hi, I’m Stephen — and I’m really glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to carrying things on your own. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or just tired of trying to hold it all together. Whatever brought you here, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience walking alongside people through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, and major life transitions. I’ve helped individuals and couples find clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of self—and I’d be honored to support you too. I work virtually with adults in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa. My style is calm, grounded, and collaborative. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—we’ll move at your pace, focus on what matters to you, and work together to create meaningful change. I often use tools like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices, but most importantly, I create a space where you can show up as you are—no pressure, no judgment. Clients often tell me they feel safe and understood in our sessions. That’s my goal. Whether you're navigating something big or just feeling off and unsure why, I’m here to help you sort through it with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. Outside of therapy, I enjoy playing golf and pickleball, woodworking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I believe in balance, humor, and the importance of staying grounded—and I bring those values into my work. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. If you’re ready to talk, I’m ready to listen.
