Hello and welcome, I’m glad you came. Give yourself credit for reaching out today. It isn’t easy to ask for help, even with all the attention mental health is receiving these days. Every individual still needs to find the reasons and motivation to do this for themselves. Although I use many different evidence-based therapy approaches, I will not go into them here because when we meet, you as the client will be given as much control as you need to decide what you identify as an issue or issues and how you would like to go about exploring them. I can provide you with different perspectives on these issues, and we will work together to identify the best approach that fits your point of view. The important role I play is to understand how you see yourself, how you see the world, and how you believe they interact. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and my license number is 37PC00774000.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have worked cooperatively with clients both new and experienced for over 10 years and many of my client’s refer others to me. To me this is the truest measure of my effectiveness, that client’s trust me to care for the people they care about. What is your typical process for working with clients?

If this is your first-time exploring therapy, then we can take time to build trust and rapport. If you have tried therapy before and still feel you need help then we can explore what has and has not worked, while trying out some different ways of solving problems.
