Hi, I'm Stephen Vinson. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working with children, teens, adults and couples dealing with adhd, divorce and separation, anxiety, parenting issues, anger, trauma and depression. I also work with couples providing both in person and telehealth services. While I am located in FL for in person, I am also licensed in TX and see clients virtually. My approach As a Black male clinician, my approach to care is rooted in compassion, honesty, and cultural awareness. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients, especially men can show up fully, without judgment. My work is centered on challenging harmful narratives, particularly the misconception that therapy isn’t for men or that it’s not okay for us to cry. I believe vulnerability is strength, and therapy should be a space where clients feel seen and heard My focus I am especially passionate about working with male clients navigating complex issues related to race, gender, and identity. Nonetheless, my ideal clients are those who are ready to heal, grow, and do the inner work required for meaningful change. Whether you're facing emotional struggles, identity concerns, or relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with support and encouragement. I bring an individualized approach to each session, believing that personalized care is the key to progress. My communication style My communication style is warm, direct, and empathetic. I listen actively and reflectively, allowing space for clients to express themselves fully while gently guiding the conversation to deeper insights.
