What should a new client know about working with you?

Yes, I am experienced, trained, and qualified, but most importantly, I care about the people that I am working with. Ultimately, I view myself as "a helper." I have been working in the helping professions my entire adult life. I first became licensed over 25 years ago and have had the pleasure of helping many people over the years, both online and in my private practice.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have learned that "no two people are alike," and "no two situations are alike." When we engage in a therapeutic connection, that is a one-of-a-kind experience. The unique therapeutic connection that is established has never happened before, and will never happen again. I have found that healing can occur, lives can change, and goals can be achieved. Over the years, I have also learned that no problem is too great or too small. I am committed to doing my best to help with whatever is brought to me. For me, the most important part of the helping process is the connection and empathy shared with those that I am helping.
