I work with adults to help them navigate emotional disturbance, life transitions, build healthy esteem, and address substance use/addiction. We can work together and help you develop solid skills and habits to prepare and empower you. My communication style I focus on clear and direct communication with mutual respect and collaboration. I encourage the sharing of intentional, directed thoughts and actions. Although aspects of therapy can be challenging, I want us to create a safe environment together that facilitates acceptance, works through difficulty, and celebrates success. My journey to mental healthcare My interest in therapy was to make sense of the human experience and how, across all situations, we can still make things better or worse. My experiences with individuals from various backgrounds have supported the idea that we may have differences, but we all have the capability to love, grow, and support each other in making things better.
