Steven Glover, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I understand that living authentically can be difficult in a world that often misunderstands or stigmatizes difference. Many of my clients come in feeling isolated, broken, or exhausted—whether they’ve been hurt, are struggling with relationship conflict, or just want to feel like themselves again. Imagine your life a few months from now: in love with the life you're building for yourself and others. You feel accepted, empowered, and excited for what’s next. That’s the work we’ll do together—rebuilding from your strengths, not your shame. I take a person-centered, eclectic approach, grounded in positive psychology. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, tailored to your unique needs. In our first session, I listen deeply, ask questions, and begin to co-create a treatment plan with you based on what actually works—not one-size-fits-all advice. With two master’s degrees (Educational Leadership and Clinical Mental Health Counseling), I’ve been in private practice since 2018 and hold multiple licenses. I’m currently exploring Ph.D. programs because I love learning (and apparently, student debt). I also bring experience from working in psychiatric hospitals, dual-diagnosis treatment centers, crisis hotlines, and alternative peer groups for young adults. Trained in the Gottman Method (Level 3), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II, and with additional certifications in positive psychology and sexual health, I strive to create a space where you don’t have to explain your identity—you can just be. If you’re looking for a therapist who sees you, hears you, and wants to help you thrive on your terms, I’d be honored to work with you.
