Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm Steven. I graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a Master's in Counseling, where I learned how to incorporate spirituality into the healing process. My journey has led me to work with individuals from diverse cultures, preferences, and ethnicities, many of whom I met as a case worker in Dallas. I've had the privilege of working in clinical, outpatient, and inpatient settings, which has enriched my understanding and approach to therapy. Throughout my career, I've addressed a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, boundaries, addiction, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. I have experience working with clients of all ages, from 5 to 99, and I am trained in crisis and suicide intervention. Additionally, I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which forms the foundation of my therapeutic approach. However, I believe in the importance of flexibility and often integrate other counseling techniques to meet the unique needs of my clients. My main motivation is my love for others. I firmly believe that we were intended out of love, so we must love to intend. This philosophy guides my work and interactions with clients. When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate and understanding environment where your unique experiences and perspectives are valued. Together, we will navigate your challenges and work towards your goals. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to find the healing and growth you deserve.
